Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access
A CAD Viewer Which Allows All Users to See 3D and 2D CAD Data
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access is a CAD viewer for sharing 2D and 3D product design concepts securely across extended product design teams.
Users inside and outside of the organization can see up-to-date designs in detail, provide review input and access both neutral and native CAD data (including 3D IGES and Autodesk DWG and DXF), without jeopardizing intellectual property. These capabilities enable risk-free design collaboration that can greatly accelerate your product development process. The viewer also lets team members explore “what if” design alternatives for modifying, restructuring, or repositioning of parts and assemblies without accidentally corrupting or overwriting the original design data file. Moreover, Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access manages product data seamlessly in combination with Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager.
Benefits
Share high-quality 2D and 3D designs: View, inspect, and print 2D and 3D CAD design data created with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling™, Creo Elements/Direct Drafting, and other 2D and 3D CAD systems
Save CAD license costs: Make models and drawings accessible to anyone in the organization, with a cost-effective viewing application
Explore changes risk-free: Users are free to explore and even try some changes to the design, without the risk of corrupting the original design data file
Improve the review process: Provide departments outside of engineering with controlled and up-to-date access to released product design data using Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access and Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager
Multi-CAD collaboration: Work effectively in a multi-CAD development environment where you can share, view, and inspect designs created in other 2D and 3D CAD systems
