Ansys LS-DYNA
Ansys LS-DYNA simulates the response of materials to short-duration severe loading. It is the most commonly used explicit simulation program, best suited for the experienced and highly technical user. LS-DYNA’s many elements, contact formulations, material models and other controls can be used to simulate complex models with control over all the details of the problem.
Overview
LS-DYNA is an explicit dynamics program that uses explicit time integration to solve the equations of motion. Its design maximizes user productivity, resulting in major savings in labor costs and project time. The software runs interactively, enabling you to spot errors early in the calculation. Models can be modified in the middle of a simulation to change, add or remove parts; the simulation can then be completed from that point, producing highly accurate results in a short period of time.
